60TH ANNIVERSARY OF VICTORY AT GPW – TRIUMPH OF WORLD SIGNIFICANCE
Foreign ministry of the Russian Federation considered the questions on tasks of diplomatic services in connection to preparation and conducting international arrangements dedicated to this Day, correspondent of AzerTAj said.
As was informed by the RF Foreign Ministry, preparation to the jubilee of Victory is considered as one of the priorities of activity of the MFA of Russia and the Russian diplomatic and consulate institutions abroad. There have been marked certain measures for political-diplomatic provision of preparation and conducting international actions in the frame celebration of this Day.
Celebration of the 60th anniversary of Victory should become a triumph of universal significance, be conducted under the mark of unification of humanity before the dangerous displays of global character – international terrorism and other challenges and threats. It was noted that significant task of the Russian diplomats is confirm historical truth on the greatness of heroism demonstrated in the years of war by the peoples of the Country, all peoples of the former USSR, decisive resistance to the attempts to re-write the history.
