Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs hold phone talk
Baku, May 15, AZERTAC
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated FM Cavusoglu on the occasion of President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s and the ruling party’s winning the majority of votes in the presidential and parliamentary elections held in the country. They expressed confidence that as a result of the elections fraternal Türkiye will become even stronger.
FM Mevlut Cavusoglu thanked for the attention and congratulations.
During the telephone conversation, the FMs discussed the current situation in the region as well as the latest developments on peace negotiations.
