® Holcim Azerbaijan selected best master in the country
An impressive final of the “I’m the MASTER! 2025” competition (Season 2), organized in partnership with Holcim Azerbaijan and IZIA, took place at the Baku Expo Center. The winner of the competition was Etibar Garadayev from the Balakan district. Thanks to his precision, technical skill, and responsible attitude toward his profession, he stood out among other participants, took 1st place, and earned the title of the best master in the country.
The competition, which started in May, attracted great interest across the regions of the country. More than 700 masters participated in the preliminary stage. Over 400 masters from 17 regions showcased their skills through theoretical and practical tasks, and only 27 participants with the highest scores advanced to the final.
The final stage was marked by high dynamics and tasks designed to closely resemble real working conditions. The masters were tested for both speed and quality, fully demonstrating their professionalism. The most successful participant, Etibar Garadayev, received the grand prize a pickup auto.
The other winners of the competition were Miralam Jafarov from Lankaran, who took 2nd place, and Fikret Huseynov from Guba, who was awarded 3rd place. With their work, they once again highlighted the strength of established traditions of professional mastery. Their performance demonstrated the enduring power of professionalism. The winners were awarded gift cards valued at 5000 and 3000 AZN, respectively.
The “I’m the MASTER!” project serves not only as a platform for creativity and competition but also as a space for professional development. In the final, participants learned in detail about Holcim Azerbaijan’s innovative construction products, their technical capabilities, and areas of application.
This competition once again demonstrated that Azerbaijani masters are strong bearers of craftsmanship culture and artisanal traditions in the construction sector.
