ABA, Korea Federation of Banks sign MoU

As part of its visit to Korea, a delegation of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) is visiting the country from November 26 to 28 and is scheduled to hold meetings with leading Korean financial institutions.

On the first day of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ABA and the Korea Federation of Banks (KFB) to enhance cooperation in the banking sector.

The memorandum was signed by ABA President Zakir Nuriyev and KFB Chairman Cho Yong-byoung.

The memorandum envisages strengthening institutional partnerships in the banking sector, expanding exchange of advanced international experience and information, organizing joint initiatives in digital banking, “FinTex,” and innovative financial technologies, as well as studying global practices and exchanging experts in the banking sector.

The document creates new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects between the parties, the organization of trainings and seminars, and the more systematic realization of mutual cooperation.
