Activities of OTS Council of Muslim Religious Leaders discussed

On November 20, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), met in Baku with Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), who is on a visit to Azerbaijan. The CMO Press Service informed AZERTAC about this.
During the meeting, Allahshukur Pashazadeh noted that the OTS has fulfilled an honorable historical mission, and that the heads of state of the member countries have carried out important work.
Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev described the Declaration signed in Shusha on the establishment of the Council of Heads of Muslim Religious Boards of the Organization of Turkic States as a historical document. He thanked the CMO Chairman for his contributions to the establishment and functioning of the Advisory Council.
During the conversation, the sides also discussed the upcoming plans of the OTS Council and its forthcoming meetings.
