ARMED HOUSE RAID KILLS MAN, INJURES TWO WOMEN

A man was killed and two women were injured in an armed raid at a house on the Jeyhun Sharifov Street in Sabunchu district in Baku on Saturday night.

Ali Aliyev, 73, and Rovshana and Rubaba Guliyevas were in their house when the robbers struck at about 01.30.

Aliyev was shot dead, while the women were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injures.

One of the gang`s members was arrested, and police identified him as Rajab Valiyev.

Police are investigating the matter.
