Astana explores prospects for cooperation among Turkic states’ judicial systems

The International Forum within the Turkic Judicial Network, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, opened in Astana under the theme “Protection of Human Rights and Effective Justice: Balancing National Traditions and International Standards.”
The forum provides a platform to discuss modern approaches in the training and selection of judicial personnel.
Delegations from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan attended the event, alongside representatives of state institutions and judicial systems, deputies, scholars, and international experts.
An Azerbaijani delegation, led by Chingiz Asgarov, member of the Judicial-Legal Council and Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, participated in the conference.
According to Chingiz Asgarov, the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan initiated the establishment of a conference of the Supreme Courts of Turkic states, with a statement signed in Shusha two years ago.
