Australian Azerbaijani Association condemns terrorist act in Turkiye

The Australian Azerbaijani Association (AAA) has expressed condolences to Turkiye and its people over the terrorist act committed in Istanbul, President of the Australian Azerbaijani Association Mikayil Oyta told AZERTAC.
He said that the Association had sent a letter of condolences to Turkish Ambassador to Australia Korhan Karakoc over this tragic event.
The letter reads: “On behalf of the Australian Azerbaijani Association I express my deepest condolences to the people of the Republic of Turkiye following yesterday terrorist attack on Istanbul. I offer my prayers for the victims and extend my heartfelt condolences to their families.
I also sincerely hope for the early recovery of those who were injured. I am greatly shocked and resentful of the attack, which occurred at the famous Istiklal street where many people spend enjoyable time with family friends on weekends. Such an act of terrorism is an attack on the whole of our civilization and values, which I resolutely condemn. God bless Great Turkiye and its people.”
