Azerbaijan's foreign economic services turnover reaches $14 billion

In the first nine months of 2025, Azerbaijan’s foreign economic services turnover amounted to $14 billion.
Of this total, $7.7 billion came from services provided by non-residents to Azerbaijani residents, while $6.3 billion came from services provided by Azerbaijani residents to foreign countries.
Transport services accounted for approximately 28.2 percent of the total mutual services turnover. Of these, 66.3 percent, totaling $4 billion, related to the use of Azerbaijani transport services by non-residents. Azerbaijani residents provided transport services worth $2.6 billion to non-residents, while non-residents provided transport services worth $1.4 billion to Azerbaijani residents.
During this period, exports of transport services in the non-oil and gas sector rose by 22.9 percent, while imports decreased by 7.4 percent. As a result, the surplus on transport services increased by 50.2 percent, reaching $1.3 billion, compared to $0.9 billion in the first nine months of 2024.
