Azerbaijan and Jordan planning year-round flights from Baku to Amman

Azerbaijan is considering the organization of year-round flights to the Jordanian capital of Amman, said Sahil Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance, as he addressed the 4th meeting of Azerbaijan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission held in Baku.
“During the current year, Azerbaijan's national air carrier, AZAL, successfully operated direct flights from Baku to Amman for the summer season. The carrier is currently planning and assessing the possibility of organizing similar flights next summer. We will explore ways to make this more commercially attractive, and we will operate not only charter flights, but also regular flights all year round,” the minister added.
