Azerbaijan, Colombia discuss tourism cooperation
Baku, July 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev met Friday Alfonso Soria Mendoza, head of the office for Europe at the Colombian Foreign Ministry and Diego Jose Tobon, ambassador of Colombia to Russia.
The discussions focused on development of cooperation between the two countries in tourism and culture spheres. The sides underlined the necessity of reciprocal visits of culture and tourism ministers of the two countries and cooperation within international organizations.
They discussed how to hold culture days of Azerbaijan in Colombia and carry out relevant projects.
Abulfas Garayev briefed them on the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue held in April in Baku.
Alfonso Soria Mendoza proposed signing a Memorandum of Agreement between Azerbaijan and Colombia on tourism sector.
