Scientific-practical conference on subject “Role of creative activity of Nizami Ganjavi in cultural relations of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan” with the participation of scientists of both countries was held at Tashkent State Pedagogic University after Nizami Ganjavi, AzerTAj correspondent reports.

In his opening speech, rector of the University, professor Bahrom Kadirov named Sheik Nizami the great poet of the East.

Minister of Education of Uzbekistan, academician Saidanbor Gulamov, corresponding member of NAS of Azerbaijan, professor Vagif Arzumanli, professor of this higher institution, researcher of Nizami Ganjavi’s activity Hamidjan Hamidi and others made reports on topics “Heritage of Nizami and epos of the Uzbek people”, “Creative activity of Nizami Ganjavi as factor of upbringing” and other ones.
