Azerbaijan, India discuss energy cooperation

Baku, January 24 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan and India have discussed cooperation in the field of energy as Energy Minister Natig Aliyev visited New-Delhi.

Aliyev joined a meeting that involved Indian Prime Minster Manmohan Singh and Minister of Oil and Natural Gas Veerappa Moily. It was held on the sidelines of the 11th international oil and gas conference and exhibition Petrotech-2014.

The Indian officials praised Azerbaijan`s role in the region’s energy policy as well as the country`s contribution to ensuring Europe`s energy security.
