Azerbaijan, Italy 's Saipem S.p.A. discuss prospects for cooperation

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy met Tuesday with Alessandro Puliti, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Italy's Saipem S.p.A on the margins of the Baku Energy Week.
The sides highlighted Azerbaijan’s role in the global energy transition, ongoing initiatives in this area, and potential avenues for future collaboration with the company.
The meeting also addressed the long-term operations of Saipem S.p.A. in the energy sector in Azerbaijan and its partnership with local companies.
Alessandro Puliti emphasized Saipem’s commitment to technological innovation and expressed interest in broadening cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The parties also exchanged views on Azerbaijan's position in the global energy transition, projects implemented in this area, and future partnership prospects.
