Azerbaijan, Italy ink memorandum in agriculture

The Agricultural Research Center (ATM) under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture and the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of agriculture.
CREA is a leading Italian research organization operating under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry.
The memorandum was signed online by Director of the Agricultural Research Center Rashad Huseynov and CREA President Andrea Rocchi.
It was noted at the signing ceremony that the purpose of the memorandum is to contribute to social welfare and economic development.
Under the memorandum, the parties will, over the next three years, develop joint work plans, exchange data and research materials, facilitate exchanges of scientific personnel, hold joint meetings and conferences, implement joint research projects, and cooperate in training and scholarship programs.
