Azerbaijan participates in “Veliko Tarnovo Christmas Market” exhibition

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria was represented with a national stand at the traditional “Veliko Tarnovo Christmas Market” exhibition, held annually in the city of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
At the exhibition, the embassy displayed photo materials showcasing Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural uniqueness, tourism potential, and rich natural beauty, along with tourism booklets and brochures in English. Embassy representatives provided visitors with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s tourist destinations, travel opportunities, and events held in the country.
The Azerbaijani national stand reflected the country’s cultural tourism potential, ancient history, customs and traditions, rich culture, and picturesque nature. It featured thematic photographs, national souvenirs and carpets, as well as samples of national cuisine.
The traditional exhibition in Veliko Tarnovo serves as an important platform for promoting intercultural dialogue and public diplomacy. Participation in such international events contributes to strengthening cultural ties between countries, expanding mutual promotion and advocacy, and deepening friendly relations. The exhibition attracts wide public interest with its festive atmosphere, rich cultural program, and colorful presentations. Participating institutions and diplomatic missions are given the opportunity to introduce their countries’ cultural heritage, customs, traditions, and values to a broad audience.
At the same time, the “Veliko Tarnovo Christmas Market” plays an effective role as a platform for promoting tourism, shaping a positive national image, and facilitating direct communication with local communities.
