Azerbaijan represented at Astana Media Week 2025

Astana Media Week 2025, the leading media platform of Central Asia, continues in the capital of Kazakhstan with panel discussions, presentations and master classes.
Media professionals, international partners, and representatives of government organizations gathered on one platform to discuss key issues in the development of the industry.
Azerbaijan is represented at the event by Elshan Shahbalayev, Chief of the Global Communications and Information Department of AZERTAC, and Fuad Gadilli, Head of Technical Development of the agency.
The first day of event featured a plenary session on “New Directions in Journalism in the Era of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. Public Trust and Development,” with discussions attended by heads of major media organizations from Europe and Asia.
As part of Astana Media Week 2025, the participants also engaged in discussions on “Journalism at a Crossroads. The Birth of Digital Media with AI, followed by a meeting of media managers on the theme “Media Ethics as the Foundation of Trust. Manifesto of Editors.”
The event also featured a roundtable on the theme “Current Approaches to Training Sector Journalism Specialists.”
The role of journalism in mobilizing society, safeguarding values, and strengthening trust as social capital was the key focus of today's event.
Astana Media Week is an annual event in the field of media and journalism, uniting state, independent, professional and new media of Kazakhstan, with the aim of developing the local media industry and promoting business relations in it.
Over the years, heads of departments and international experts, influencers and visionaries of the industry have been meeting at the main media communication platform of the country to discuss topical issues, establish contacts, present ideas for the upcoming media year and navigate future trends.
