Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss cooperation in family, women and children affairs

Bahar Muradova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan, met with Turkish Ambassador to the country Birol Akgün on December 3.
B. Muradova highlighted the centuries-old relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, describing their strategic partnership and fraternal relations as a model for other nations. She emphasized the unwavering commitment of peoples to peace and justice, expressing her belief that these relationships will persist into the future.
Highlighting fraternal relations with Azerbaijan, Ambassador B. Akgün stated that these relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries are developing at the highest level today.
The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation on family, women and children's issues, highlighting the importance of joint projects and initiatives in this area.
The meeting also discussed the efforts undertaken within the Action Plan for 2023-2025 of the "Protocol for Cooperation in the Field of Policy on Family, Women and Children's Issues" signed between the two institutions. It was emphasized that the new Action Plan to be signed for the next 3 years will open up new opportunities for future activities.
