Azerbaijan, UAE discuss media cooperation

Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency, met with Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and the UAE Media Council (UAEMC), during the BRIDGE media and content industry summit held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Media Development Agency informed AZERTAC that Ahmad Ismayilov highlighted the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE in the field of media and communications, noting the importance of expanding the exchange of information and experience and strengthening interaction between media entities. He underlined that such institutional partnership would create a foundation for the implementation of joint projects in the future and enhance the efficiency of joint activities.
Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed spoke about the priority areas of media policy in the UAE, digital transformation, and initiatives implemented within the framework of international media cooperation. He also praised the development of relations with Azerbaijan in the field of media and communications and noted that the established cooperation would open new opportunities for both countries.
The meeting also focused on the exchange of information and experience, cooperation on initiatives and projects of mutual interest, as well as the organization of meetings, seminars, training sessions, and conferences.
