AZERBAIJAN ‘WON`T TAKE A STEP BACK FROM ITS POSITION’
The President`s statement came at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to discuss the country`s socio-economic progress in the first quarter of 2008.
He said “we will continue our diplomatic and political efforts and propaganda against Armenia, and we will unmask their aggressive policy”
“Once again I instruct our representatives in all international organizations to continue their efforts towards exposing the Armenian state as an aggressor”, President Ilham Aliyev added.
The Azerbaijani leader said “Armenia`s aggressive policy placed it in difficult situation, and they face uncertain future. The confrontation in the country is still continuing. And it is natural, because aggressive policy, unjust approach and middle age policy can never be successive”.
The President expressed confidence Azerbaijan will achieve all its objectives, and settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in its own favor.
