Azerbaijani Ambassador meets rector of Tajik State Pedagogical University

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Tajikistan Abbasali Hasanov has met Nosir Salimov, rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues enhancing cooperation between the Tajik State Pedagogical University and the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

They stressed the importance of the cooperation agreement between the Academies of Sciences of the two countries signed during the official visit of the Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Tajikistan. Parties highlighted the great potential for the development of relations in the field of science and education.

The sides proposed joint research projects, exchange of copies of the works by famous Azerbaijani and Tajik poets and thinkers, the organization of events dedicated to their lives and activities. N. Salimov also highlighted the selection of students of Tajik University for further education at the “ADA” University.
