The Azerbaijan Karabakh Center hosted a festive celebration marking the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year.
The event brought together Azerbaijanis living in Gothenburg and neighboring cities to honor their shared heritage and national unity.
The program was opened by Masuma Rustamli and Gulnisa Ibrahimova, young activists from the center, who highlighted the profound significance of December 31 for the diaspora.
In her remarks, Ulviyya Najafova, head of the Azerbaijan Karabakh Center and Gothenburg coordinator for the Coordination Council of Swedish Azerbaijanis, highlighted the vital importance of passing the spirit of solidarity down to the future generation.
The festivities included national music, traditional dances performed by children, and patriotic poetry readings, concluding with a gift-giving ceremony for the children.
