AZERBAIJANI PRESIDENT’S KAZAKH VISIT IN INDIAN MEDIA SPOTLIGHT
Indian newspaper These Days has published the article about the recent official visit by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Kazakhstan.
Describing the meeting between the Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Ilham Aliyev, the article points out that the parties have agreed to bring the trade volume between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to $1 billion. It concludes that the two dynamically growing economies will further strengthen their ties.
The article describes as very important for Kazakhstan the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s statement on his country’s readiness to provide Kazakhstan with the access to Azerbaijan’s transport and energy infrastructure.
The article says that the two leaders discussed the possibilities of transportation of Kazakh hydrocarbons via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. It also underlines that Azerbaijan supports Kazakhstan’s joining the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad project to connect Kazakhstan to the Mediterranean.
