Azerbaijani volleyball players to compete in European league

Baku, January 19 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s national volleyball team will compete in the European league which will bring together a total of 18 countries.

In the women`s Group A, Azerbaijan will face Turkey, Bulgaria and Slovenia. Germany, Poland, Spain and Greece are drawn together in Group B.

In the men`s Group A, Azerbaijan are pitted against Poland, Greece, Montenegro and Romania, while Slovenia, Austria, Denmark and Macedonia will compete in Group B.

The winners of the Championships will attend the 2015 World League and Women's World Grand Prix tournament.
