AZERBAIJAN`S AMBASSADOR TO MALAYSIA MEETS CHAIRMAN OF BERNAMA AGENCY
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Malaysia Tahir Karimov met the Chairman of Bernama Agency (National News Agency), the Cabinet’s special adviser Dato` Mohd Annuar Zaini.
As reported, in the course of discussions, focused were issues of the visit of several journalists to Azerbaijan headed by the Chairman of Bernama. Also were exchanged views on visit in future to Malaysia of the journalists of Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Tahir Karimov highlighted on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, noting that Malaysian community is less informed on this conflict. Chairman of Bernama was invited to take part at the forthcoming ceremony of presentation on 22 April in Baku of the book “War Against Azerbaijan: Targeting Cultural Heritage”.
The diplomat expressed satisfaction with cooperation between Bernama and the Embassy of Azerbaijan, emphasized necessity of deepening the relations. Also was discussed placement at the Bernama website of the news on Azerbaijan, as well as broadcasting of programs via TVs of Malaysia on Azerbaijan.
As agreed, on 28 May, on the Day of Republic, Ambassador Tahir Karimov will give AN interview to Bernama TV channel.
