Azerbaijan’s “ASAN Khidmet” model highlighted at ESCAP meeting

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, at the invitation of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) to attend the ninth session of the Asia-Pacific Information Superhighway Steering Committee and the Regional Review of the World Summit on the Information Society.
The Azerbaijani delegation was selected to chair the Working Group on Advanced Technologies and Smart Government Services of the Commission for the 2025–2028 period.
Ulvi Mehdiyev provided insight into the “ASAN Khidmet” model and spoke about the successful cooperation between the State Agency and the UN and its various entities. He also informed participants that ASAN has evolved into an intellectual brand exported to more than 30 countries.
The meeting brought together leaders and representatives of organizations operating in the relevant fields from the United States, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Cambodia, the Philippines, the Kyrgyz Republic, and other countries.
