Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister visits frontline
Baku, November 7 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and First Deputy Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel-General Nejmeddin Sadigov have visited the frontline to meet the staff and review military units.
The Defense Minister viewed military units and met soldiers and officers.
A group of servicemen were presented military ranks, medals and gifts.
The Minister was informed on the combat readiness of units on the line of contact, moral, psychological state of soldiers, their social conditions, readiness of officers and ensigns, and material and technical basis of military units.
Minister Hasanov heard reports and suggestions of the commander staff, and gave instructions to relevant officers to strengthen combat readiness and discipline, as well as to improve social conditions of servicemen.
