Azerbaijan`s Deputy FM meets Korean delegation
Baku, June 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov has met a delegation led by Yoo Ki June, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Chairman of the Judicial Reform Committee.
Mr. Khalafov praised relations between Azerbaijan and Korea.
On relations in economic, cultural, tourism and humanitarian fields, the deputy minister hailed the activities of Korean companies, as well as their active participation in projects in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Khalafov said there was good potential for developing relations between both countries. He also stressed the importance of developing the inter-parliamentary relations.
Mr. Khalafov expressed confidence that Korea supported Azerbaijan`s just position on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Ki June highlighted development of the Republic of Korea over the 50 years, adding Korea was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in a variety of areas.
He also thanked Azerbaijan for supporting the efforts to remove tension on the Korean peninsula.
On the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mr. Ki June said Korea supported Azerbaijan`s just position.
