Azerbaijan’s Lachin city hosts “The Voice of Victory – Lachin 2025” event

On November 8, an event titled “The Voice of Victory – Lachin 2025” dedicated to Azerbaijan’s Victory Day was held in Azerbaijan’s Lachin district, supported by the Office of the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and organized by the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service of the district.
The event brought together representatives from the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lachin district, the District Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Lachin, “Lachin Improvement Service” JSC, heads of local law enforcement agencies, families of martyrs, participants of the Patriotic War, veterans, public figures, and local residents.
The event held at the State Flag Square, began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a moment of silence in honor of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the cherished memory of the martyrs.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Masim Mammadov, Special Representative of the President in Lachin district congratulated the participants on the occasion of November 8 – Victory Day.
He emphasized that the historic triumph achieved by the valiant Azerbaijani Army during the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev has been eternally etched into the memory of the nation and has become a symbol of national unity and state power.
Noting that the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom and territorial integrity is always honored with deep respect by the Azerbaijani people, Masim Mammadov added: “Thanks To heroism and dedication of Azerbaijan’s brave soldiers and officers, today the country’s tricolour flag proudly waves over all the liberated territories.
Mammadov also touched upon the grand military parade dedicated to Victory Day which is being held today at the Azadlig Square in Baku, under the leadership of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev.
According to him, the event is a testament to the strength of the state, the power of the Army, and the unity between the people and the government.
The Special Representative outlined that celebrating this holiday in Lachin, a symbol of victory represents both return and revival, adding that the restoration of life, development, and human presence in these lands is the greatest tribute to the memory of Azerbaijani martyrs.
The event continued with a tree-planting campaign on Heydar Aliyev Street.
