Azerbaijan’s oil exports exceeded 16 million tons in January-August 2024

According to operational data for January-August 2024, Azerbaijan produced 19.3 million tons oil (including condensate), the Ministry of Energy told AZERTAC.
Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli accounted for 11.1 million tons of oil produced in the republic while Shah Deniz for 2.8 million tons (condensate) and Absheron for 0.4 million tons. SOCAR's oil output amounted to 5 million tons (including condensate).
During the reporting period, the volume of exported oil, including condensate, amounted to nearly 16 million tons. Out of this, consortium accounts for 13.9 million tons, SOCAR for 2.1 million tons.
In January-August of the current year, oil refining in the country amounted to 4.4 million tons.
In August 2024, daily oil production (including condensate) in Azerbaijan amounted to 76045 tons, including 64870 tons crude oil and 11175 tons condensate.
