Azerbaijan’s Victory Day marked at U.S. Illinois University

The Azerbaijani Student Association under the U.S. University of Illinois, with the support of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the Azerbaijan Center of Midwest America, organized an event entitled "Victory Day and Culture Festival" marking November 8 - Victory Day.
The event was attended by the staff of the University of Illinois, representatives of the local and foreign community, members of Azerbaijani student organizations studying at other universities, and representatives of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in the United States.
The event featured the screening of videos highlighting the history of Azerbaijan’s Victory, an exhibition of the country’s national music and dances, and samples of the national cuisine.
