Azeri archaeologists visit France

Baku, November 26 (AZERTAC). Maisa Rahimova, director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the head of a department of institute, the PhD on historical sciences Farhad Guliyev visited France to attend the event dedicated to the results of archaeological projects in Azerbaijan.

Scientific innovations of archaeologists from Azerbaijan, France and Germany, general principles of combined knowledge directions, new project between Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the French National Research Center for preparation of young archaeologists were the discussions in the event organized by the French National Research Center.

According to new project young Azeri archaeologists of Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography get the chance to take part in the trainings in Europe.

Azeri scientists made reports in the event.

The report by Farhad Guliyev “Goytepe-Neolit age- ancient settlement” was valued as the innovative research in the South Caucasus region recently.
