AZERI U-17 FOOTBALLERS BEAT KAZAKHSTAN IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING ROUND
Baku, October 31 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan national under-17 football team have defeated Kazakhstan 3-1 in the first qualifying round of the European championship.
Ruslan Tagizadeh put Azerbaijan ahead in the 46th minute, but Nikita Utrobin leveled the score three minutes later.
Haji Ahmadov scored Azerbaijan`s second goal with a 72nd minute penalty, and Abdullah Abatsiyev grabbed the third in the 80th minute.
Despite the victory Azerbaijan failed to qualify for the next round, finishing third behind England and Serbia.
