AzerTAc, Finland-Azerbaijan Association hold meeting in Parliament of Finland
Baku, April 25 (AZERTAC). Employees of Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) Aygun Hasanova, Elshan Shahbalayev and Chairman of Finland-Azerbaijan Association (FAA) Vasif Muradli and deputy chairman of the Finnish Azerbaijanis Society Arzu Ogtay held a meeting in the Eduskunta (Parliament of Finland).
Prior to the meeting, the Azerbaijani delegation has been invited to participate in the event.
They discussed protection of labor rights in Finland, as well as security issues in working places at the event, chaired by the Speaker of Finnish Parliament Eero Olavi Heinäluoma.
The Azerbaijani delegation has met Head of Azerbaijan-Finland Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group Eero Lehti to discuss a range of issues, including developing relations between Azerbaijan and Finland, as well as hearings on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict held in Finnish Parliament.
Eero Lehti said there were wide opportunities for cooperation between both sides in the economical sphere.
They also discussed solving the organizational issues of Azerbaijanis living in Finland.
Eero Lehti said he will attend the event to be organized by the Azerbaijanis in Finland.
Following the meeting, the Azerbaijani delegation presented books on Azerbaijan`s culture, as well as its history, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Khojaly massacre to Finnish MP.
MP, Initiator of establishment of Azerbaijan-Finland Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Markus Mustajärvi was also present at the meeting.
