AZERTAC holds meeting on outcomes of 2025

The Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) held a meeting to review the agency’s operations in 2025.
The participants first observed a minute of silence in honor of the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani martyrs.
Addressing the meeting, Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC, emphasized the attention paid by National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the development of Azerbaijan’s media, noting that this strategy is being successfully continued by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Vugar Aliyev highlighted AZERTAC’s key areas of activity in 2025, including the prompt and comprehensive coverage of international events hosted by Azerbaijan, large-scale restoration works in the liberated territories, as well as the resettlement process carried out within the framework of the Great Return Program.
The Chairman of the Board also underscored the agency’s successful technological innovations and the strengthening of its standing in the global information space.
Speakers at the meeting included AZERTAC Board Members Daghbayi Ismayilov, Sevinj Abdullayeva, Fuad Gadilli, and others.
The meeting also featured the presentation of jubilee medals marking the “150th Anniversary of Azerbaijan National Press (1875–2025)” to several employees of the agency.
