Azertac photojournalist’s exhibition opens at Magsud Ibrahimbayov Creativity Center

A solo exhibition showcasing the photographs of AZERTAC photojournalist Tofig Babayev has opened at the Magsud Ibrahimbayov Creativity Center.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War.
Symbolically titled “The Lens of Victory,” the exhibition features photographs taken along the front line, as well as images depicting the first months following the liberation of Azerbaijan’s territories from occupation.
As noted by Anna Ibrahimbayova, Director of the Magsud Ibrahimbayov Creativity Center, November 8 – Victory Day – is a special date that symbolizes national unity, resilience, and confidence in the future.
Rufat Mahmud, Chairman of the Board of the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, emphasized that organizing such events remains highly significant, even after many years.
In her speech, Hijran Huseynova, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan, noted that the victory in the Patriotic War was made possible thanks to the decisive leadership of the President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, as well as the courage and patriotism of the Azerbaijani people and army.
According to Khazar Abdullayev, a veteran of the Patriotic War who also spoke at the event, it is the moral duty of every citizen to honor the heroes and preserve the memory of their immortal deeds.
