Bako hosts Women's Entrepreneurship Summit 2025

In observance of World Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the Women's Entrepreneurship Summit 2025, co-organized by the Azerbaijan Women's Entrepreneurship Development Association (AQSIA) and the Azerbaijan HR Institute, was held in Baku on November 19.
The event served to promote the role of women’s entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, form a new generation of women leaders, create real opportunities for sustainable development of women in the business ecosystem, and exchange views on measures taken within the public and private cooperation in this field.
The opening of the summit was addressed by the Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Sadiq Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orkhan Mammadov, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Birol Akgün, MP Vugar Bayramov, Director of the Azerbaijan HR Institute Emil Huseynov and Ofelya Salmanova, spouse of martyred Major General Polad Hashimov.
Sakina Babayeva, Chairwoman of the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, addressed the participants in a video message.
The event featured panel discussions, practical sessions, and networking opportunities on innovation in entrepreneurship, digital transformation, human capital development, leadership and global trends.
