Baku hosts “Actual Problems of Combating Crime" international scientific-practical conference

On November 26, an international scientific-practical conference titled “Actual Problems of Combating Crime” was held under the auspices of the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Representatives from Türkiye, Hungary, Poland, Moldova, Georgia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the event, along with officials from Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as employees, master’s and doctoral students of Baku State University, the Police Academy, and the National Aviation Academy.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Lieutenant General Ismat Aliyev emphasized the significance of the conference, noting that its main goal is to discuss innovative approaches to addressing crime, analyze effective legal mechanisms, and share international experience.
The event continued with panel discussions and presentations.
Speakers covered a wide range of topics related to combating crime, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects. The discussions examined the nature and evolution of crime, including emerging forms and trends, and addressed the challenges in combating them.
Participants praised the organization of the conference and expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation.
The conference concluded in a businesslike and productive atmosphere.
