Baku hosts “Customs-Business Forum 2025: Dialogue and Trust”

A forum titled "Customs-Business Forum 2025: Dialogue and Trust" was held at the administrative building of the State Customs Committee with the support of bp.
The forum aims to strengthen customs-business cooperation by establishing a platform for joint discussion with private sector representatives and other stakeholders, which will facilitate reviewing projects implemented this year and planning future initiatives.
The forum was attended by representatives of the state and private sectors, experts on customs, as well as media representatives.
Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration, Shahin Baghirov, Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Lieutenant General of the Customs Service, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, bp’s Vice President for Communications and External Affairs for the Caspian region, as well as other officials made opening remarks.
The remarks were followed by the presentation of the projects "New digital solutions of the Customs Clearance Platform (GRP)" and "Digital cooperation platform" developed by specialists of the State Customs Committee.
The forum also featured presentations on digital tools implemented in the field of customs work, as well as joint projects carried out by the customs authorities and relevant state institutions aimed at regulating and simplifying foreign trade operations.
