Baku hosts international conference on Caucasus and Central Asia in globalization process
Baku, October 15 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan State Economic University played host to the 3rd international conference on the Caucasus and Central Asia in globalization process, economic and international relations.
The conference is organized by Azerbaijani ministries of education, industry and energy, economic development, as well as State Ecomics University, Caucasus University, Turkish International Cooperation & Development Agency (TIKA) and TUSIAB.
The event brings together scientists of Azerbaijan, Turkey, United Kingdom, US and Kazakhstan.
Attending the event, rector of Azerbaijan State Economics University, chairman of the Milli Majlis standing committee on science and education, professor Shamsaddin Hajiyev spoke of Azerbaijan`s economic development in modern globalization period.
Rector of the Caucasus University, professor Ahmad Sanic praised successful projects being implemented in Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Other speakers of the conference included rector of Turkish Marmara University, professor Zafer Gul, rector of Istanbul Trade University, professor Sabri Orman, chairman of the Milli Majlis committee on agrarian policy Eldar Ibrahimov and chairman of the Milli Majlis committee on economic policy, academician Ziyad Samadzade.
The conferees also heard reports and made discussions.
The event will end on October 17.
