BAKU TO HOST NISA WINTER SESSION
Baku will host the winter session of NATO International School of Azerbaijan (NISA) entitled “Peace operations in Euroatlantic space: problems and perspectives” from December 10 to 15.
The session will bring together member and partner countries of NATO.
The session will discuss NATO`s partnership programs and Caucasus policy, the principles and juridical aspects of peace operations, conceptual approaches to peace and war ideas, national approaches to peace operations, role of media and civil organizations in peacemaking process and civil-military relations.
As part of the event, the participants will familiarize themselves with a peacekeeping camp of Azerbaijan Armed Forces.
The winter session will hear reports of representatives from Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NATO, OSCE, Defense Academy of Great Britain, University of Copenhagen and Marshall European Center for Security Studies.
