“BP-AZERBAIJAN” ENLARGES BAKU-TBILISI-CEYHAN OIL PIPELINE
“BP-Azerbaijan” Oil Company began to enlarge the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Oil Pipeline.
As reported, the Azfen-Tekfen Consortium is the contractor of this reconstrcuiton works.
Increase of BTC capacity from 1 million barrel to 1,2 million barrel is estimated at $70 million. The increasing of oil pipeline planed to finish till the end of this year.
Currently, the pipeline’s capacity averages 800 thousand barrel per day. The figure is said to reach 1 million barrel till the end of this year.
