BRUSSELS SUMMIT OF HEADS OF STATE AND GOVERNMENTS OF EC CONTINUING
In the first day of Forum, in the center of attention there was discussion of the question of struggle against terrorism and the advanced program of operations on joint effective struggle in the field of reflection of threats of terrorism on the EU space.
Participants of Summit have defined obligations of the states of EU, adopted Declaration on attraction of national armed forces of countries - participants to operations on struggle against terrorism on space of EU and their inclusion during antiterrorist activity in structure of interstate joint military formations, the further improvement of activity of European police organization EUROPOL, expansion of open data exchange between the bodies of judicial authorities, polices and national safety of the countries of EU.
The former state secretary of the Netherlands De Vris has been charged the duties of the coordinator of the countries of the Union on affairs of safety against terrorism on space of EU.
The agenda also included the question on approval of the Constitutional Charter of the European Union. After wide discussions, the heads of states and governments decided to sign the Charter at the next summit forthcoming on June 17 in view of amendments and additions.
Discussions have been carried out on the second day of summit on the question of revival of economy on space of EU.
