CASPIAN SEA LITTORAL STATES DISCUSSING CASPIAN STATUS
The 22nd meeting of working group on the Caspian Sea legal status convention started Tuesday in Tehran.
Azerbaijan`s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov is attending the meeting.
The meeting was opened by Iran`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Manouchehr Mottaki who said a project to be prepared by the working group will be useful for each Caspian Sea littoral state.
Khalaf Khalafov spoke of preparation for the 3rd summit of heads of Caspian Sea littoral states to be held in Azerbaijan.
As part of his visit, Khalafov will also hold bilateral meetings.
Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Iran Abbasali Hasanov was present at the event.
