Caspian Technical Conference to be held in turns in Astana and Baku
Baku, December 12 (AZERTAC). “Starting from 2014 the Caspian Technical Conference will be held annually and in turns in Astana and Baku. According to the comparative analysis, November 2014 is the best time for the event,” said chairman of the Section “Society of Petroleum Engineers” (SPE) Sanzhar Zharkeshev at a meeting of the Coordinating Council for Oil-Gas Sector Development of KazEnergy Association in Astana.
SPE is the largest membership organization for managers, engineers and scientists and other professionals around the world working in the field of exploration and production of oil and gas resources.
Currently there are more than 110,000 members of the organization in the world. The organization has over 500 members in Kazakhstan.
The SPE mission is engaged in gathering, disseminating and exchanging technical information in the field of research, development and operation of oil and gas fields, as well as other technologies for the common good.
