CD RELEASED TO OPPOSE ARMENIAN CLAIMS
A CD of the first collection of songs called “Our Folk Songs” including the “Sari Gelin” (“The Yellow Bride”) Friday was presented at the Institute on Human Rights of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
The project aims to spread the unprecedented collection of songs to the world.
Rovshan Mustafayev, director of the Institute said the author and head of the project was Araz Gurbanov, Deputy Director of the Institute.
According to him, “Azerbaijan is already gaining victory over armenianizm which is making efforts to get political support of the world community”. As stated, this project was one of the significant events to oppose Armenian claims.
Ganira Pashayeva, Azerbaijani Parliamentarian emphasized the importance of expansion of the international campaigning to prevent Armenian attacks on Azerbaijani culture. She offered to launch a website of “Sari Gelin”.
The other attendees of the event stressed the necessity of protection of Azerbaijani national-spiritual values and artifacts in the globalization process.
