CHAIRMAN OF AZERBAIJAN CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION TO VISIT KAZAKHSTAN

Chief of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov will visit Kazakhstan on August 15-22.

Mr. Panahov will meet his Kazakh counterpart and other senior officials, as well as observe the parliamentary elections to be held on Saturday.

Azerbaijan has sent ten observers to Kazakhstan, and they are included in the OSCE Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Bureau`s short-term observation mission.

Four more CEC observers will monitor the elections in Kazakh Embassy in Baku.
