Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office attends inauguration of “Minhaj” digital platform

As part of his visit to Saudi Arabia, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), attended the ceremony to launch the “Minhaj” platform as first comprehensive Islamic digital reference serving Muslims.
The inauguration ceremony of the Muslim World League’s (MWL) new digital platform, hosted by MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa in Makkah, was attended by Muslim religious leaders, prominent statesmen, religious figures, scholars, and heads of international Islamic organizations.
During the launch, an overview was presented of the platform's key features and its role in introducing a qualitative shift in the league's institutional communication system as part of its strategic plans to enhance engagement with Muslim communities inside and outside the Islamic world.
Al-Issa stressed that this digital transformation represents a significant step within the MWL's efforts to advance its technical tools and strengthen effective communication with Muslim peoples, particularly through streamlined technological services that meet their needs. He noted that the MWL continues to enhance its technical capabilities in line with the rapid development of modern technologies.
He said that the application is the first of its kind in terms of its extensive Sharia-based foundation, which brings together scholars of the Muslim nation who are members of the assemblies, bodies, and councils affiliated with the MWL.
The official event concluded when eight key Islamic world leaders, including Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, symbolically launching the digital platform.
The “Minhaj” platform offers a wide range of interactive digital services in several world languages, filling a long-standing gap—particularly in addressing the confusion and contradictions found in many existing applications—while also adding essential and urgent services.
As part of his visit to Saudi Arabia, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade also met with Imam and Preacher of the Kaaba House Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, Secretary General of the Council of Senior Islamic Scholars of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Fahad bin Saad Al Majid, President of the Supreme Islamic Council of Algeria, Dr. Mabrouk Zaid Al-Khair, Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (Parliament) Ahmad Muzani, Co-Chair of the Lebanese Islamic-Christian National Dialogue Committee, Dr. Mohammed Sammak, and Director General of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Firdovs Abduhalikov.
During the meetings, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade highlighted the large-scale reconstruction and restoration efforts undertaken by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, as well as the ongoing reconstruction efforts to revive the universal Islamic cultural and spiritual heritage that had been subjected to Armenian vandalism. The CMO Chairman also mentioned the construction of new mosques to replace those that were destroyed, as well as the resounding calls of the Azan (call to prayer) in those territories.
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade hailed the deepening relations between Azerbaijan and the CMO with the Islamic world, spearheaded by President Ilham Aliyev, highlighting their growing role in advancing intra-Islamic solidarity and dialogue.
