Chairman of CMO presented Francysk Skaryna Order of Belarus

Chairman of the Caucasus Clerical Office Sheik-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade was presented the Francysk Skaryna Order of Belarus.
Speaking at the international conference on the promotion of religious tolerance, jointly organized by the OSCE Project Coordinator's Office in Baku, the Azerbaijani Government, the Caucasian Muslims Office and the Azerbaijani National Commission for UNESCO, ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Nikolay Patskevich said the government of his country also attaches close attention to this question. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree to present the Order of Francysk Skaryna to Chairman of the Religious Council of the Caucasus, Co-Chair of the CIS Inter-Religious Council, Chairman of the Supreme Religious Board of Caucasian Peoples Allahshukur Pashazade, he stated.
Handing over the Francysk Skaryna Order to Sheik-ul-Islam, the Ambassador said Chairman of the Caucasus Clerical Office Haji Allahshukur Pashazade was given this award for his considerable personal contribution to the development of the Belarus-Azerbaijan cooperation, expansion of trade, economic and cultural contacts and strengthening of interfaith dialogue.
Sheik-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade expressed gratitude to the head of Belarus State for high assessment given to his merits, stated that this is high estimation of the existent tolerance traditions in Azerbaijan.
