CIS MINISTERS OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS GATHER IN BAKU
The meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs today has started in Baku.
The agenda of the meeting, which has gathered ministers of 12 states, includes promotion of cooperation to prevent threats and menaces, training of specialists and etc.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov who opened the meeting said that cooperation within the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs is rapidly developing.
Chairman of the Council, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Internal Affairs Baurjan Mammadjanov informed the participants about the work done since the previous meeting held in Astana.
The presidency of the Council passed to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Internal Affairs.
Chief of Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration, Ramiz Mehdiyev and Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, Vladimir Rushailo addressed the meeting.
Then, the ministers held discussions.
The meeting will continue its work on September 7.
